Today’s itinerary

Location

The lounge is located on the mezzanine of the boarding area, like all the lounges in Geneva.

The First lounge is adjacent to the Senator lounge and the reception is shared.

The welcome is rather warm even if I feel a little hesitation in the actions of the attendant who welcomes me.

I see on the welcome sheet of the First lounge that I am the only passenger of the afternoon, information that will be confirmed to me by the waiters.

Lounge design

The design of the lounge is basic, quite recurrent in the Swiss lounges. Everything is very 90’s/AC Hotels, but in a perfect state of maintenance.

I set up my things in one of the lounge’s lounging areas.

The latter has 16 seats.

A catering area as well as a work area are available.

I will later move to the food court for a light lunch,in prevision for my stay at the lounge in Zurich and the flight to Singapore.

Catering

Despite the very recent reopening of the First lounge in Geneva, which dates from 2 days before my arrival, the menu remains very limited, with only cold platescomposed by the service staff and a wine and alcohol list that could be much more Premium.

I will order a light Cesar salad which will turn out to be excellent, some pieces of Gruyere cheese and a typical Swiss pie.

Everything will be very good, served with great professionalism but without ostentation.

Bottom line

I leave the lounge as the flight attendant tells me that boarding has begun, after a very good stay in this lounge, despite the still limited service.
