The Australian airline Qantas, which is in the news a lot at the moment because of its project for the longest flight in the world (Project Sunrise), has just published its new safety video on the occasion of its (almost) centenary.
It retraces the history of the airline with a century of aircrafts and uniforms and a soundtrack adapted to each period of history.
All the characters are real employees of the airline in the same position as in the video.
All this for a very convincing and successful result in a field (safety instructions) where, by dint of overdoing it and seeking buzz, airlines sometimes overdo it to the detriment of the very purpose of this type of video: to explain to passengers in a clear and memorable way what to do in case of problems. A beautiful journey into the past that recalls the times when flying was more glamorous than today.
But I already found the Turkish Airlines Lego 2 video very long, now 8 minutes is a bit too much….
